Athletic Training

Lakeshore Sports Club offers Athletic Training for all sports to prepare athletes for competition by utilizing exercises and drills directly related to sports-specific movements and positioning to help achieve:

Training Evaluation
Physical and Performance Testing is a comprehensive evaluation of each athlete conducted through a series of physical tests to determine specific physical strengths and weaknesses including:

  • Flexibility
  • Balance
  • Muscular Strength
  • Muscular Imbalances

Types of Training Programs
No matter what sport you play, we have desgined group and private training program to enhance your performance and ability at the game. The fundamentals of Our program consist of speed, control, power, Agility, Strength, and precision along with the proper nutrition. Lakeshore Sports Club's Athletic Training Program uses the TRX system, designed by Todd Durkin, elite strength, speed and conditioning to top athletes in the NFL, MLB, and NCAA. Using the TRX system, we offer a variety of HIGH LEVEL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS for all ages and sports in all settings:

 
   
 

   
     
   

Conditioning Training
Offered to all athletes of all ages in group of 10 to 15 using the TRX system

This program is designed to include general conditioning, strength and
endurance while developing essential motor skills. The exercises and movements are safe for athletes of all ages and uses the TRX suspension training system that builds superior muscular balance, joint stability, mobility, and core strength helping you perform better in any sport. It also improves posture and prevents injuries.


Performance Training
Offered to advanced athletes in groups of 5 using both TRX and weight training

This program is designed to increase strength, control,, power and agility. The program is tailored with specific sports in mind to enhance and develop the athlete ability to perform better in that sport.  The classes are offered to a group of five athletes maximum. The program includes weight training, and endurance utilizing weights, track, and TRX system. The exercises are designed for athletes ages 12 and over to improve their speed and strength, while developing endurance and maximizing jump ability.

Specific Sports Training
One on one training with a trainer focusing on specific athlete needs

This is one on one program is our most advanced program and is designed to each individual athletes and is built around their specific needs and deficiencies. It will focus on the overall self esteem, confidence and developments of all motor skills, while developing strength, flexibility and agility. This program is designed for the athlete that wants to advance their training to the next level and excelling in their sport.

Performance Nutrition is an important component of any athletes program. With a proper nutritional diet, you will experience an increase in energy, stamina and endurance during play or practice, as well a better recovery after the game. At our Cafe, we offer recovery shakes to help each athlete complete their nutritional programs.
           

One on One
A weekly meeting one on one with a nutrition consultant to evaluate goals such as weight loss, weight gain, or nutrient delivery for optimum performance.  We will evaluate and design  a proper nutrition program that will meet the specific needs while focusing on the missing essential nutrition components and supplements. We'll help you adopt a healthier lifestyle by teaching you how to: read food labels, estimate portion sizes, and plan healthy meals and snacks.

Group Nutrition
This four session program will teach the fundamentals of nutrition relevant to athletes of all ages. Classes will be taught in groups with no more than 10 athletes per session. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Your initial session will be a nutrition overview class that will teach you about all the essential macronutrients, vitamins and minerals. The following 3 sessions can be chosen based on your interests and nutritional needs.
